I agree that Obama's plans for gun control is still his agenda, however even he has said that it will be a political nitghtmare. As for the Brady bunch, they will never give up. Its apalling to think anti-gunners would rather see good citizens die who can't defend themselves. Remember the people voted these fools into these positions; vote them out! And because of Obama I have to pay more for my 40 S&W ammo when I can find it

What the F rating means is that the pressure put on the Democrats to back off their anti-gun agenda is working AND we need to keep it up. Saying that Obama will simply wait until his second term to press his anti-gun agenda is ridiculous since it will still severely damage the future prospects of his party.

The partisan politics displayed thoughout here is pathetic. The Bradys don't care about party lines. They'll vote for anyone who supports their vision of a disarmed citizenry.

Maybe if the NRA went after drunk drivers and publicly helped get out the truth about how many citizens it kills each year. They need to educate the public and then many of the problem politicians would have to give up office in disgrace after several DWI arrests. Chappaquiddick comes to mind rather rapidly as well as others.
With the world as unsafe as it presently is it would amount to political suicide to try to disarm the population at this time and they know this deep down.

The whole world is moving to one currency, (referring to the canadian-american-mexican "Amero" that has been proposed) and many believe that the UN is trying to take over the world. Think about it......... No country on earth has ever been able to take over the entire world, so it seems the only way to do it is to let a coalition of major powers form a union, and that union will take over the entire world. Gun control will have to be part of that effort if they are going to be successful, just like Hitler had to grab all the guns before he went on his wicked rampage.
As for me? I'll be studying the good book to try and understand the warnings and instructions on the coming of the end times, and during my studies, I'll be keeping all of my guns close by.

If the GOP can ride the wave of Mass. and Scott Brown into November and gain another 3 or 4 Senate seats and at least 30 House seats, then gun control is off the table until 2012. Hopefully Obama will continue being as arrogant as he is now and screwing up, he won't be around after 2012.
