Hi Folks,
Lately I have REALLY been thinking strongly about the carry laws here in Tennessee. While they are probably pretty good compared to some parts of the country, they are also pretty restrictive in some aspects.
I would dearly love to see Vermont style carry laws passed in Tennessee, no permit required to carry concealed or open. I know that as a community we are much more used to fighting defensive battles than offensive, but this would be a wonderful change to Tennessee laws, and if we dont go on the offensive sometimes are certain to lose in the end.
I dont have any real political experience, but I know there are people on this forum who have been fighting the RKBA battles for many years. So lets start brainstorming here, and maybe some of you can educate others of us as to what would be the best course of action.
I DO NOT WANT THIS THREAD TO BE ABOUT RON PAUL, let me repeat I DO NOT WANT THIS THREAD TO BE ABOUT RON PAUL, but the way his campaign has been driven over the internet shows us a great deal about how we can use the 'Net to network with others and make big things happen! We should be able to use this loosely as a blueprint to begin a campaign for a law like this.
So who is in? Pitch in and lets figure this out!
