Reloadable .308 NATO brass is scarce, as most of the NATO surplus is Berdan primed...and the CETME throws brass a l-o-n-g distance! Who makes a case catcher for the CETME?

Might have to experiment making my own bag, with coat hanger wire for an action clip...;)

They may work fine for you, but if you engage in "active" shooting, brass catchers tend to deflect the empty brass back into the action causing jams.

Have not tried this yet, but I'm thinking of making one using a "leaf rake" for a swimming pool. Check pool supply places. Its a deep, farily rugged nylon net with a large oval opening. Could put it on a flat stand with a piece of dowel to hold it up.

OTOH, the CETME throws brass so hard it might rip the net. Have to try it to see.

Darn if I don't have one that I don't use anymore (it was for the HK). I wonder where it is?

BTW, my brother traced the outline of the receiver onto a piece of paper and cut the paper to make a template. He cut a plastic orange juice bottle out and put some eyehooks into one end. These were attached to rubber bands to secure the bottle to the receiver. It worked as well as the plastic brass catcher I had and it only cost him some time.
