I have a ton of ammo. Everything from 22LR to 7.62x51 R1M1 Ball. I'm wondering if there are any issues in bringing them to the USA and I'm wondering what kind of issues/permits I would need if I were to consider selling it to a FFL dealer or is it completely not allowed.

Well...I have about 25,000 rounds of 223 Rem. Other than that. 2/3 cases each of 357 magnum, 40, 357 sig, 9mm; 2 cases 44 mag;

That kinda thing.

Also I think what you posted rogertc1 is in regards to firearms. I think there might be slightly different regulations for ammo. I could be wrong though. Thanks for the help though.

Ammunition would need export and associated import licenses to be sent or taken across the border legally. While I am reliably informed that people in the past have not bothered with the paperwork, today with hightened security it might not be wise to just throw the stuff in the back of a truck.
