Greetings all,
I looked around and didn't see an answer to this question.

I know the BuckMark isn't on "the list" to sell NEW here in MA, but can be sold used between owners within MA.

My question is, can I buy one used off of, say, Gunbroker, from out of state, and legally have it shipped to my FFL here?

Thanks for any help!

It is unlawful to sell or transfer any firearm, firearm feeding device, or ammunition to a person without the proper card, license, or permit.

Some sellers refuse to ship to MA because of legal complexity. It CAN be done, but often it is a business decicion NOT to.

At least 3 things are needed:
1. You need to have the proper permit for purchase.
2. You need to verfiy that the seller will ship to MA.
3. You need a FFL willing to accept the firearm from the seller and transfer it to you.

You may want to go ahead and contact the FFL you plan to use and discuss the procedure with him.

AFAIK the answer is no. Transfers of used guns between MA resident is allowed because the gun in question was originally in MA before it was "removed" from the list. So it was grandfathered in. Welcome to the PRM (peoples republic of MA). Sorry.
