I just bought a carbon 15 and want to install a quad-rail on it. I'm having a very hard time finding one, so one of the manufactures directed me here.

ANY HELP PLEEEEEEEASE!

Any RAS/quad rail that you install will be up to your tastes your needs and your budget, but you get what you pay for. Just keep in mind your going to add weight up front and change the balance point of the rifle somewhat. There are so many options that you need to take a good look at what you're really wanting from the RAS. Do you want a free float , non free float, one that can take a ton of severe use and abuse , or just something functional and gives that tacti-cool look? If you want something cheap but functional and modular, Magpul's got a good one that is light and nicely adaptable to your own preference. Not a free float but wont break the bank. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I have a Knights armament quad rail (RAS) on my AR and it's built like a tank but also retails for $300 and up. Just sort out what your needs are and work from there. HTH

By the way, what length are we talking about. Carbine , Mid, Full ? Getting you set shouldn't be much of an issue since everyone and their dog is making AR parts these days.

From what I found on AR15.com, the answer is no.

Here is what I found:
Most of the FF tubes use a barrel nut made just for them. Carbon 15 uppers don't have the same type barrel nuts as aluminum uppers. So, I'm guessing it won't work. I'd call Bushmaster (not email - takes forever) and ask, if I were you. They may have one or know of one that works.

You just bought one of the lightest ARs around and you want to bulk it up with a quad rail. Why?
If you want to add a Vert of Angled fore grip or a light there are other lighter ways to do so with GOOD QUALITY 2 piece handguards.

Unless I am mistaken your C-15 Ultra Light is a carbine length. Any non-free floating quad rail will work. I would suggest the MOE plastic one since it is much lighter than a aluminum one.

This is a UTG quad rail, just remove the handguard and bolt it on.

Something like a Daniel Defense Omega 7 should work. It just snaps in just like the milspec forearms and it is free float. The Omega 7 is very light and won't add much weight. I

DD, Troy, UTG and many others have drop in non free float rails.

This is what I'm hearing but if you look below, there's a carbon 15 with a quad on it...? No I'm really confused.

Two possible questions, two possible answers...

if you want a FREE FLOATING quad rail, you are SOL.

If you want a conventional hand guard with quad rails, you can use any made in the correct size for your set up.

Not really sure what the confusion is. Any quad rail the correct size for your rifle will work. Just a matter of how much your willing to spend on one. The Carbon 15's really dont require specialized attachments .

I'd go for the Magpul MOE .
