Bushmaster is better by a long shot, i have shot the Sw Mp they are junk, barrels heat up faster then the BM, i have a HBAR its very accurate , i would choose Bushmaster over any AR15 on earth! they dont need anything added to them they are close to perfection!

. Pretty much anyone who is experienced with the AR platform would disagree with you Bushyguy. Care to explain why you think M&Ps are junk? If it is based solely on the fact that an M4 barrel heats up faster than a HBAR barrel then you really need to rethink your priorities.

This doesn't compare at all with reality. As I've noted several times I have two Bushmasters and am happy with them. BUT - The S&W M&P is definitely a quality AR, and I know a professional trainer who's run everything and uses and recommends M&Ps as the best moderate price option, and in fact seems to recommend them over a lot of more expensive options.

As for Bushmaster being close to perfection, here's a few things that don't quite meet my view of perfection:
-carrier key staking
-surface finish of barrel is rough
-surface finish of receivers is inferior to most other companies I've looked at
-a significant number of front sight bases are canted
-several reliable reports of some chambers being undersized compared to the 5.56mm spec.
