My go-to gun that I trust for the day crap hits the fan is my Glock 19. I got mine with the factory night sights and I couldn't be happier with this gun. I decided that I should buy some extra parts and magazines for it now while hi-cap is still legal and magazines are easy to come by.

I ordered the following in-stock items from topglock.com:
- Jentra grip plug
- (1) Glock 33 rd magazine
- (2) Glock 17, 17 rd magazines
- (2) +2 factory extensions

I'm looking to buy at least a couple more 15 rd magazines for my 19. Anybody know where I can find some new 15 rd mags for a decent price? Topglock.com was backordered for these.

Also, what trigger connector should I buy if I'm trying to acheive an actual 4.5 - 5 lb. trigger pull? I had a Ghost Rocket 3.5# setup on my old 19 that I foolishly sold, but found it to be too smooth and light (basically unsafe). I think I installed the heavier trigger spring that came with the kit, which is why it might have felt too mushy.

I'm looking to get the same feeling trigger pull as the stock setup, where it stacks up and then has a crisp break. I just want it to be right at 4.5 - 5 lbs when it breaks. How do I acheive this, and do I stick with a factory part or go with a Ghost Inc. part?

Finally, what are the most commonly replaced parts on a Glock 19 when performing periodic maintenance? I was thinking about getting some springs and maybe a spare recoil assembly. Any input would be much appreciated!

Also, has anyone tried out the Ghost Ranger 4.5# connector?

It's tough to know exactly what will give me the pull I'm looking for. Glock claims 5.5 - 6 lbs for the factory trigger pull, but it's really like 8-9 from what I've heard. I can't tell since I don't have a scale.

I use the Ultimate and the Rocket, and I like them. Ghosts are mushier on the break, but much lighter on everything else. It takes 'getting used to', but the reduced reset on the Rocket is worth it.

CP, you might try the GLOCK factory 3.5, it runs about 5.

For commonly replaced parts, trigger spring, mag spring, mag follower, slide release lever and spring. I'd have a spare loading block pin on hand. For folks with factory (plain) sights, have a couple of spare front sight posts on hand as well. You should be fine with the steel night sights.

Cheaper than dirt has what you need, or did a few weeks ago. Glock factory 15 rd. mags @ 22-23 bucks. I have 4 for my 19 now.

They also have a 3.5 connector that they sell under the CTD brand name. It's actually made by Scherer, and best of all I think I paid like 7 dollars and change with my buyers club discount.

I am pleased with the 3.5 Scherer connector, good feel and good reset, from your description I think it is just what you are looking for. The trigger feels stock, but a little lighter.

Enjoy your 19, it's a fine weapon.

I bought five Korean made "KCI" fifteen round mags for $12.95 (discounted from $14.95 if five or more) from Wideners. I THINK it was a short-lived deal, but it's definitely worth looking for KCI mags because they're excellent. I have to look at the baseplate to see if I'm using a Glock mag or a KCI mag; except for two little indented circles at the top the KCI's are identical in every way to OEM.

Gun shows are the best places for mags. I'm on 20+ for my Glock 35 and G23.

As for replacement parts an extra recoil rod spring assembly and trigger bar would be good to have. My G35 after 6K rounds needed them bad.
