Perhaps we could use this as the general form for this thread. Identify any traits in the process... and then when we get 20 or 30 on here we can look at the statistics.

I payed with a credit card using the form the NLC sends you. After about 90 days I finally called the ATF and asked what the heck was taking so long. The lady I spoke with said she had my application, but wasn't sure how to process a CC payment. She said that she would ask a supervisor and process my application right away. I suspect that if I hadn't called my application would still be sitting on her desk. So don't be afraid to call and pester them!
