Hopefully the right forum:
Hey guys, doing my paperwork for my license. I just had a quick question. It asks if I have a valid hunting license. Making a long story short, I don't have one and will not be getting one until mid November, probably after season starts. These are my options.

1. If you answered "NO," you likely cannot lawfully possess a firearm and therefore cannot be a federal firearms licensee.
2. If you answered "YES," complete the following information, and attach a copy of the hunting license or permit to the application.

Can I send it in now or do I need to wait until November? Like to send it out now so in November I can start buying myself some early Christmas presents.

I do not have a hunting license and was approved for my c and r.
So don't think that it really matters.

Very nice. Thanks. I hate filling out forms. I always feel like I'm going to make mistakes and screw myself somehow.

In the blank spots did you write N/A? Or just leave stuff blanks? LIke all the questions about business and partners or other people to have on the license, etc.

So how did you answer 10a and 10b?:scrutiny:
Questions 10a, 10b and 10c are for "Nonimmigrant Aliens" ONLY.

If you are a US citizen or a Permanent Resident you do not answer 10a, b or c.

If you are indeed a nonimmigrant alien(here on a temporaty work visa, student visa or tourist visa) you can acquire firearms only if you have a valid hunting license and meet certain residency requirements.

Sigh. This is what I'm talking about. I need to print the damn forms out. I'm answering them on a netbook with a 7" screen.

Thanks for the help. I'll print them out in a sec and start over. I'll let you know if I have any questions then.

Thanks again.
