It's AB 352 not 52. Sorry for the typo.

Please contact your reps fast. This is another bill by the gun grabber Koretz.

This needs to be stopped. If you don't know already this bill will make handguns unsafe and not available for sale if they do not have micro-serialization within their design in order to mark the fired brass or case. More total insanity.

Another ridiculous law be the same Assemblyman that created AB50.

I've been quoted saying that Democrats will walk across a thousand dead bodies to throw a rock at a Republican.

This is in the same spirit ... when most of the nation is distracted by the goings on in NO and the Gulf Coast, they pull this crap.

sneaky bastards

Bringing this back up. It's very important that Californian's contact their Senate reps if they haven't already.

Well, I sent my emails. I'll make a few phone calls tomorrow. My assemblyman is good about this stuff. It's the LA and Bay Area reps that really mess this state up. Let's get out and be counted.

Maybe you should read the news more. This bill has been around for months now.

I think he means taking it off of the inactive list of bills.

Mike

The bill was put in the inactive file, but could be brought back any time.

Since SB 357 has been reported as "dead" people seem to get a little over confident and think AB 352 will meet the same fate. SB 357 has not been scheduled for a hearing, but that doesn't mean it won't be. Be aware that SB 357 can be brought back using "gut and amend" of another bill just like it was created in the first place.

It looks like Koretz wants his AB 352 travesty to go all the way.

It's ok for the tiem being....

Subject: CA State Legislature adjourns

To All:

The CA State Legislature adjourned, for the year, late tonight.

This means that bills such as AB352 and SB357 (and others) have now become "two-year bills" and cannot be considered until early next year.

GOOD WORK!!! Without the dedicated and coordinated efforts of you and the
NRA Members' Council volunteers, these bills might have passed. You have a right to be proud of your efforts.

Thank you for your dedication and diligence in helping to stop these anti-freedom bills.

We have been quite successful in our efforts to reach-out to other firearms-related groups, businesses, and individuals, during this past year. By the time the 2006 legislative session begins, we hope to be able to include many more contacts into our coordinated network within California.

Yours, for the Second Amendment and the NRA.
