Buck Snort--You've got 500 of the things, as I understand it. That's enough to make it worth selling, IMHO. (And all that moly coating would make for a great deal of nuisance skimming were you to melt them down, too!)
BTW, you can send 'em USPS, in one of those "Flat Rate" boxes, and the cost is quite reasonable. I got 50# of lead shipped to me that way for, I think, $15. My local postmaster was amazed at the weight of the box, but, like the TV ad says, if it's less than 70#, and it fits, it ships.
Advertise the bullets in several places. Put a reasonable price on 'em--they'll sell for much more than their scrap lead value! If they don't sell, well, then scrap 'em.
I still wouldn't bother smelting them myself, but, that's just me.
