Today is the 150th day since Cavalry Arms was raided by agents of the BATFE and the civilian asset forfeiture contractors. When the agents left, they took more than $500,000 in guns with them along with the company’s computers and files. A month and a half later, the BATFE filed for civil forfeiture of all the “evidence” they had seized. No charges have ever been filed, no one at Cavalry Arms has been accused of any wrongdoing. Incredibly, Cavalry Arms is still in business due in part to the widespread support they have received from gun owners across the country but also because of the determination and tenacity of it‘s owner. As in any emergency, large numbers of people are willing to help out initially, but there always comes a point where the initial groundswell of support begins to ebb and people start to forget.
I image Cavalry Arms needs a new surge of support right now. You don’t have to be able to afford an AR15 to help. They sell shotgun accessories, AR15 furniture and sights, optic mounts, soft cases and medical kits.
If they don’t have something you need, you can always donate to their defense fund. Fighting the civil forfeiture is expensive and good legal help doesn’t come cheap.
