CCI Velocitors Will Get Your Attention

Today I took my 617 in to practice and make sure everything was working right. It did.

I also took along my Walther P22 and a box of CCI Velocitors. They definitely will get your attention when firing them. Nice LOUD report and the group very well. I don't feel under gunned with 11 rounds of Velocitors in the gun. I've now fired in excess of 500 rounds of various .22s and have had only 3 jams. All were solved by rotating the bullets 180 º. I no longer use that ammo.

My friend Bob really likes his P22. The closest I have in my safe is a Gen3 Glock 19 with an Accurate Arms rimfire conversion. I don't think it would digest Velocitors -- it likes Remington Golden Bullets for some reason.

I do have a soft spot for CCI specialty ammo. Back when I was in my early teens, then-new Stingers were the bees knees in my Boy Scout troop. Hard to find at first, but we all tried them from our .22 rifles at things like raw eggs and soda cans.
