I carry a Taurus mod. 85 w/the hammer spur removed.
I am thinking of getting a LCP

Would this gun be easy to carry in the front pocket?

I carry my 38 IWB because it is a little big for my pocket.

I was also looking at buying a cw-9 because I like the 9 much better that 38 or 380 and its still small

I have always wanted a G26 and a XD 9 there just a little bigger than the others for carry.

An LCP will fit in nearly any pants pocket, including jeans (assuming you're wearing "normal" jeans, and not skin-tights), though it might not want to share pocket space with anything else.
Is the Taurus a reliable shooter? Just wondering; some people have noticed removing too much mass from the hammer gives it less momentum when the trigger is pulled, resulting in occasional misfires.

I carry a Taurus 651 in my front pocket everyday. regardless of dress...with the right holster it will look like nothing more than a wallet. YMMV...The ruger would probably conceal even better.

The Glock (26-27) size is pretty easy to carry. I carry my G27 in a IWB cross draw and it conceals great.
If you like the 26 go for it. No matter what you get make sure it fits and feels good to you.

i carry a lcp now and a 651 taurus in a mika setup i also have a glock 29 i carry iwb not all at once :D but sometimes two at a time:cool: all are reliable and the lcp is the smallest but is only good for real close work like7 yards i try to carry the glock the most

You shouldn't have any problem with an LCP in front pocket carry. Much like a KelTec...in a couple of days you'll forget it's there.

Put it in a DeSantis Nemesis holster and don't put anything else in that pocket (keys, coins, etc)

You'll be GTG

I carry a Kel-Tec on the rare occasions I can't carry anything else. Your keys and other stuff you carry in your pocket are heavier than the Kel-Tec or the Ruger since they are very close in weight.

If your Taurus 85 is too heavy and you like carrying a revolver you can always sell off the M85 and put the additional money you were going to spend on the LCP into a S&W Airweight. I carry a 15oz S&W M638 all the time and forget it's in my pocket. A good holster helps too.

I am really pleased with my G26 and it is easy to conceal on my 5' 10" 150lb. body.

If you want to pocket carry and the Taurus is too big for your pockets, then an LCP might be the way to go. A Kahr may be thin, but if a Taurus M85 won't fit in your pockets, then a Kahr probably won't fit either ... and most certainly not a Glock or XD.

For IWB though, with a good belt and holster you should be able to conceal anything this side of a Ruger SRH. So I'd just carry what you are most confident with.

I just handled the Ruger LCP in the shop last week. Very nice gun. Can be carried anwhere. Very nice quality.

I have a G27 and it is a fine carry gun. The G26/G27 is eminently carryable. Can't go wrong carrying a GLOCK.

I'd say the overall best choice is the .38 snubby. It can be pocket carried in the right jeans. Get a Bianchi Speed Strip and you're all set.

I have a GP100,single six,a P95 a Rg 38 and a taurus mod 85 38.
I think I will buy a G26 and a LCP than I should be good for a year or two.
I am never happy and always want another gun.
But I want the XD M maybe a 4" model in 40 cal.

I HAVE A TAURUS CIA 850 TITANIUM.
carry it during the summer anD a XD40 OR A PT145 in the winter sometimes along with the CIA 38.
it just depends
