Jake, is there any chance you might consider calming down. I think we all have gotten your point, and a few of us have tried to figure out why you have made such a big deal about his claiming to be a cop to the perp.

We know it is against the law, we know you can be prosecuted, we know it depends on the state you live in. I guess what we don't know is why you are so passionate about this one point. As Sig mentioned, we got the message 2 pages ago. The CWP holder made a spur of the moment decision and it worked out. Luckily we have all had the chance to determine, after the fact, if it is something we would have done or would do in the future. We have given reasons for either supporting his actions or disagreeing with them. I just can't figure out why you are so worked up over the impersonating an officer stuff.

I don't think anybody is trying to offend you, but for whatever reason you have taken a defensive approach to this and now you are really struggling to make any sense, in my humble opinion. Which I'm sure at this point, doesn't really matter to you.

Another teller realized what was happening and informed the customer she was serving about the robbery.
I'm cynical. I expect the response from many banks will be to adopt a "policy" against informing other customers about a robbery in progress -- "for their safety."
