I purchased a new Charter Arms Bulldog 44spl &I like the cost! You can have several laying around..
To me Charters are the HiPoints of the revolver world in the sense that they are inexpensive and not necessarily the best looking, but when you really need them they will do what they are built to do & that, my friends is to go bang.I like the cost! You can have several laying around..

A Aluminum Bulldog frame 6 shot 38spl snubbie
I had no idea this existed until I saw it in the shop the other day. I bought it, and it's lighter and more svelte than my M12. It gives up just a modicum of trigger smoothness over the classic old Smith, but not enough to hold me back. Haven't wrung it out yet.
They make one, it's called a round butt S&W Model 36. lolI'm still waiting for an "Undercover Classic" w/ unshrouded ejector rod and steel grip frame w/ slim wood grips.
I look at the crude utilitarian lines of my Pitbull .45, and it just looks aggressive and dangerous.
