Cheap 9mm ammo, my thoughts on 4 different brands.

Hmmm... that's interesting "WhoKnowsWho". Thanks.

Anyone know if the value-pack brass-jacketed bullets are any harder on the bore than copper? I wouldn't imagine it would be, but who knows.

I just bought 3 boxes of Win White an hour ago.
In the past, I have had great results using this ammo from my CZ 75 B SA. This combination will shoot as tight as my Kimber Custom Target.

Yeah, that's the thread I remembered reading. It's kinda got me thinking about buying some better 9mm by the case for plinking and as a source of brass. It's really a pain though to order Federal or S&B for $130-ish a case instead of swinging by the Wal-mart that's 3 blocks from my range and paying 10% less.

I think I just need a bigger press so I can load all I need. As it is I find it too hard to keep up with the combined 9mm needs of my wife and myself!

Almost every jam I've ever had in any pistol has been while shooting Winchester White Box. I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I've had:
2 stovepipes in a Glock 26
1 stovepipe in a P7M8
many stovepipes in a Walther P99
A few jams in a Beretta 92FS
An empty case got stuck in the chamber of a Kel-Tec P-11 and completely locked up the slide.

All with Winchester White Box.

I've shot plenty of WWB in my CZ-75B with no problems, and my new Kahr PM9 seems to like WWB.

I've been getting excellent results with American Eagle 124 gr. FMJ that I get for $7.99 a box of 50.

I chrono'd some Blazer 9mm 115 grain FMJ fired from a Sig 239 with a Pact Professional chrono and got an average of 1140 fps.

I haven't shot any 9mm Blazer for a long time but I tried some .45 a while back and I won't fire any more as it is real dirty stuff. WWB WinClean leaves the gun much cleaner and much easier to cleanup.
