Coming back from my business trip, I was passing by Hong Kong, and went to the night market on temple street. Saw a couple toy stands. I was looking through their assortment of bb guns, and this caught my eyes. Hehehehe:rolleyes: see the knife attachment on the bottom?

p.s. They are selling them at 78 HKD, or about 10 bucks US.
edit: Sorry for the large file size

OMIGAWD!

Don't let any of our over-protective American Mommies see that!

Why, you could stab your eye out with one of those guns!

That's an airsoft gun, isn't it? Give real BB guns the respect they deserve. :)

exactly.

i bet most of us here started off on bb guns. my first gun was a single shot pellet gun. wow the times i had with that someof the best ever. i remember on hot summer nights sitting withmy dad in the back yard i would shoot it. then give it to him. he would shoot it then we would just pass it back and forth.

You can get cheap Airsoft "SKS" rifles too, with a realistic bayonet.

There's also an expensive Type 56 kit for the AK series of Airsoft guns, that is almost a perfect replica of the Chinese rifle. Stamped steel, real wood, right down to the bayonet on the barrel.

Shame nobody over here sells them, I wouldn't mind an SKS for a wall hanger.

A Russian company was making realistic BB AKs a while back. ATF banned importation when they discovered the Russians were using unmodified 3-hole receivers for them.

That was the Yunker. Most of the parts were genuine AK-74 parts. They also did Makarovs, based on double stack frames and a majority real parts, though the Import Division doesn't remember whether they banned those from importation or not. http://www.rusmilitary.com/html/airrifle_Yunker3.htm

Looks more like a Sig to me.
I was referring to the bayonet concept, not appearence. (read below)

I would love a bayonet for a pistol!
CZ makes a bayonet that can be attached to several of its models.

I would love a bayonet for a pistol! Hard to concealed carry, though.
Some muzzleloading pistols in the past had attached knives (like the Elgin Cutlass) and some of those had knives that folded so that they could easily be carried. I imagine it'd be relatively simple to the right person to make such a thing and attach it to a gun...I think it'd be a good backup item to have on a gun.

mea culpa. :) In retrospect, I grew up in Asia. We call airsoft, bb gun here. Only after I immigrated to Canada, I understand what real BB gun is.

“Why would anyone NEED toy "assault" pistols??? There's no legitimate reason to own these toys. :D

Yeah, they’re only used for training terrorists, and if a youngster gets their hands on one they’ll be instantly corrupted into raving murderers. :D lol

That's what the Brits think. They're banning all "realistic" such "toys".

There is no sporting use for them. Don't worry though, we don't want to take away your single shot hunting airsoft, unless we decide to call it a sniper rifle
In Beaverton, Oregon they recently banned airsoft from public places. I'm not sure if it was because people were getting shot by police, or simply the fear of that (most likely). Pointing an airsoft gun at someone with a real gun (LEO or otherwise) isn't exactly a brilliant move.

I wouldn't joke about that. The GCN over here's siad that any replica has "no legitimate purpose", despite the fact that they're used in Airsoft games.

They also did the crap about plastic Airsoft guns being "converted to fire live ammo" thing. (Anyone think I should get the Mythbusters on this?)

Mind you, the Mothers Against Guns is just as bad. Depending on what they're talking about each interview, the man their leader is doing this for was either killed by a "converted replica" or a "converted airgun".

I wonder if now the antis will scream about handguns with bayonet lugs (rails)?

I wouldn't joke about that either. Knowing your gun control groups, thhey're stupid enough to try it.
