hi everyone i hope yall can help me again. i have a custom long action 308 win with a egw tactical picatinny rail. setting on top of the rail is a nikon gold 50mm scope with millett tactical high ring. with this set up i have to add a high cheek rest. my question is i want to buy a choate ultimate sniper stock. do you think my head will mount well on this stock with this set up or will i need a higher cheek pad? how can i tell if my rifle will clear the medium or low rings from millett? any help please!!!!!

I have a Chote UV stock for my Savage 10FP, and the stock has 2 different height, cheek risers included. It also has three recoil pad spacers included. Great adjustability, and very well made stocks. I do have to remove the high cheek riser to remove my bolt, one screw and its off, the low riser clears just fine.:) You can mock up your scope with clay, and measure the distance from the top of the rail, to the bottom of the scope tube. Millet would be able to tell you which rings will work.

This is with the low riser, I now have the high one in place.
