I suppose a big bore precision rifle would be fun but honestly I'd enjoy a nice Weatherby Mk V with great wood about as much. It should be a Weatherby cartridge so make it a .270 or .300. I wouldn't turn down a 7mm either.

Or an older Ruger No. 1 with great wood. .270 or 30-06 light sporter would be fine.

I wasn't looking for getting the most value, more of "what is THE most important gun on your wish list if money or access wasn't a problem". A curiosity of not what you need, not the last gun you would sell, but that one dream gun you don't have yet.
I’d say an MP5A4. That’s the only “dream gun” I’ve ever had.

If NFA was off the table, I’d probably pick a Browning Citori White Lightning, 12 gauge. It’s one of the guns I’ve liked for years but most likely won’t ever get one. I don’t shoot clays much and just can’t justify the cost. But if money were no object...

I do a lot more posting than shooting. I don't have much of a gun collection at all. If it's to be the last gun I would ever own, that's a different answer than what is my fantasy gun.

I really like the idea of a subgun or maybe a full auto .22, and of course it would have to be suppressed.

Being limited to one more gun is something I won't even consider but since this is basically a fantasy topic I'll play along. My first thought was a fully auto Thompson and a life time supply of ammo but considering my age and physical limitations I changed my mind. It would be fun but I would have to take long rests during shooting. I decided on on the military M4. Light, low recoil, so easily handled by an old geezer. I would still want the life time ammo supply with it.
