Christmas 2021.....what'd you get?

I gotta admit, I like supreme in carburetors. It seems to take longer to gum up carburetors in machinery that might sit for some time. Lawn equipment, motorcycles, etc.

Anywho . . .

Around here many tool rental companies have a pump with ethanol free gas, I guess to keep their rental machines from gumming up.

They will sell it also, that's what I put in for the final fill up of the season in lawn equipment.

Pricey, but you don't need much.

I got a chunk of coal. :(

Cool a 500 yd target.

Another Christmas with my Father in Law. He won't make another... he spent this one from his hospital bed, though at home. He most likely won't see 2022.

Spent 4 days prior to Christmas Day in a mountain lake cabin with my wife, daughters and a granddaughter. When it's over (FIL) I'll pick out a .45 handgun for Christmas.

Hard to like this sorry for your fil's condition. Great that you were able to get time with him.

I got an Uplula mag loader, a Strikeman laser targeting system (actually I got it for my birthday but my old cell phone couldn't download the app), so my wife got me a new cellphone that can handle it!

I also received a Cabela's gift card from one of my kids and I'm still waiting on a mystery package from my son; as in it's a mystery when it will get here as it shipped a couple of weeks ago from Texas, on to Louisiana, then to Toledo, Ohio, and now over to Detroit, Michigan! This package is seeing more of the U.S. than I have seen in the last 10 years!

I got a Gerber knife and a day with the wife, both boys and their families (wives and 4 grandchildren), both brothers and their families and the sister. We’ve never been big on exchanging gifts at Christmas. When the boys were young were would let them take time about picking a week long adventure at Christmas time. Had some wonderful times and and made some forever memories. On birthdays is when the gifts were passed out. It seemed to spread the cost out over the year instead hitting the pocket book at one time. It also helped us to focus on the real meaning of Christmas.

All that being said, I hope each and everyone of y’all had a Blessed Christmas and have a great New Year.

Savage A17. With all the trimmings. Now if I can just find ammo. View attachment 1047613
Man I saw a ton of .17HMR and. 22WMR while Christmas shopping the other night, I shot a Savage. 17hmr once and loved it. If I was a varmint guy I'd have one. I think it's such a cool cartridge but I just don't have much use or justification for having one other than I think they are cool.....

I got a 7.5" PSA .300 Blackout pistol kit for Christmas. I already had a spare PSA Liberty Edition lower.

Hey it's not DD or high end but I'm happy!
Love my OL she's a keeper!
Something about an acoustic guitar sitting next to an AR15 just gives me the warm fuzzies. As I sit right now, there is an 11.5" 5.56 and my black acoustic right next to my bed......

ETA: There ain't nothing wrong with a PSA, great value, great guns that will hold their own and you don't have to choke on the price....

I got the same thing I have received for the last 24 years - nothing. Never had a Christmas with the ex-wife, because her parents died around Christmas time. No tree, no lights, no presents, nada. I used to just work OT on that day. This year with the new research partner, and her mother changed the celebration day to the day after, which is my scheduled work day. I had even purchased decorations and tried to make the house look a little bit festive. It is what it is. I'll go out and buy myself something nice when I get paid. I'll take down the decorations when this shift is done and pitch them in the trash can. No worries.

3 pairs of running shoes
2 anti rip sauna suits
1 pack of all cotton socks
Moonlighting seasons 1&2
big pile of cash to buy "bang, bang"
Nutritional supplement stuff
7.62x39 throat reamer set (Murrays)
Kids got me a bunch of multi grit sandpaper, flitz, ballistol

My wife got me a cool decanter and rocks glasses for bourbon for Christmas. She rarely get's me gun related gifts, mostly because I'm so picky about what I want and she'd prefer to surprise me.

Completely unrelated to Christmas but the timing makes it feel otherwise, my CMP Garand in .308 is getting delivered this week!

A 3+ft piece of semi truck tire across into the grill/brumper/air damn of the rental car at 75mph.

:cuss: the dually that intentionally hit it knowing it would kick it up across the hwy lanes:cuss:.

The look on wife's face after she saw how much plastic stuff I cut off with a small knife I had so we could keep driving was .

I got to see dad & step mom, sister, BIL, and nephews, it's been a while and probably 10 years since I've seen the nephews. My...have they grown.

Dad's look on his face at the rental car was also
Classic dad.... "looks like somethings missing".

Good times!

A non chinese scope was the main thing & only gun specific related gift - Bushnell Trophy. Some may scoff. I'm content. Tried to keep expenses down with the cost of the trip.

I'll keep the echo going about My Pillow. 1 firm and 1 medium. Been using them for about 6-7 years now. A bit pricey but I think cheaper now than what I paid. They last and are washable. Worth it.

Hopefully, it can only get better!

To the tune of on the first day of Christmas” …And a Partridge in a Pear Tree :neener:

The Trophy line made either in Korea or the Philippines are not bad scopes. They have decent glass and seem to hold zero without issues. Too many folks worry about twisting elevation and wind these days. Set it/forget it these work just fine.
