Sweet! Enjoy! :)

A couple of days before Christmas, I traded a couple of disused compact Nines, for a well-preserved 2” S&W Model 64-4. Seems we both had a good Christmas week!

(Compact Nines tend to vex my aging right hand, whether I am shooting them righty, or running the slides with my right hand, while shooting lefty, so the offenders are being traded-away.)

I agree with Walkalong. You have fine taste and chose your first revolver wisely.

I think the Model 15 is a very special handgun. My 15-3 was not my first revolver, but it is absolutely my favorite revolver. Yours is also a very nice example.

They call it the Combat Masterpiece for a reason. It may not be the best combat gun anymore, but it is still a masterpiece.

Those are sweet revolvers. I look at them as a Model 10 with adjustable sights. I think it was two years ago my daughter called me about getting a gun for her husband. She asked me what she could get for $200 so we decided to help her out and I snagged a nice Model 15 from a friend.

I like it so much if another comes along.... :)

Congratulations on a fine revolver and enjoy it.

Id love to find a snubby M15 someday to go with my 4".

Ive only ever seen one IRL and I was broke that day.:(
One day it will happen.
I just happened to stop by a lgs were someone decided to trade in grandpa's Smith toward a 1911.
Got it for $449 plus tax a few years ago.
Have to admit, it was one of my better scores.

Nice revolver, very nice !
Envious !
M10 and M15- not sure what it is about them ?
They have a certain soul.
A couple mile stroll about the back 40 this afternoon with an M10.
Just usual tracks in the snow- distinctive foot print of a nice buck I couldn't seem to get in my site during deer season. Snowshoes are all white. Fox trot prints. Big Bobcat tracks. Kept M10 holstered the whole time, however knowing it was ready to speak if needed.

That was my first centerfire handgun when I was sixteen. So far back it wasn't a 15, it was a Combat Masterpiece. I've missed it for years and last Feb I managed to find a mint replacement. Good catch.

Very nice I am keeping an eye out for a k38 combat masterpiece, as I already have a target masterpiece, and a model 14-3. I like the earlier 5 screw guns if I can find one.

The 15-3 is an excellent firearm. And a great example of a blued S&W K frame.

Yep. Did the same thing with a Colt Trooper III, .357 mag, 4 inch. She didn't know what to get, so I said "wrap it" and it will be fine.
