Christmas S&W model 15

I have a 67-1, bought early this year for nostalgic reasons, to replace the first sidearm I was ever issued (in 1987.) The 67 is the 15 in stainless.

I haven't gotten around to shooting this one yet, but it's definitely melted-butter-slick in hand. I'm betting your 15 is as well, and you'll enjoy it. I shot that agency-issued gun quite well back in the day.

I'm a big fan of the Model 15. One of the finest revolvers S&W ever made. And one of the two best names for a gun ever. "Combat Masterpiece"...it just flows off the tongue. (The other contender for "best name" is Colt "Peacemaker.")

Mine is a -2. I got it 10 years or so ago. I think I paid about $400 for it, which may have been high at the time, but it had those darn diamond target stocks I'm such a sucker for....

The K frames are really everything you need in a 38 and nothing you don't. Simple perfection.

Great purchase!

There is something very satisfying about shooting a nice Smith like that one. :)
