Well, it is that time, again, and I've been watching the two local stores. Prices are low enough to justify a post here. Local Walmarts are closing out black powder supplies. One local Walmart has Pyrodex at $5/lb (other store is $6) and Triple 7 at $9/lb (the other store is at $11/lb). Both are FFg. Bore Butter is $3 a tube. I think they are 2.25 ounce tubes (it's the 7" by 2" diameter tube size). Remington #11 caps are $2.00/100. If they don't sell out, I've seen the Triple 7 hit $7/lb, last year, before they sold out. Anyway, for those of you in areas where Walmart sells blackpowder supplies (and rifles) for hunting season, they should be liquidating the items at fairly cheap prices, now. Most inline rifles are deeply discounted, too, if they still have some in stock.......Whether you like shopping at Walmart or not, or are against some of their policies and whatever else, I just wanted to share with you some of the prices on black powder items that I've been watching, locally.

777 is £22 for 1 pound here, with 100 Remington no.11 caps at about £4.50 - not sure what the dollar rate is today, but even at 1.6 that's $35 for the powder and $7 for the caps..
