    Hello Folks...

The CMP hit my card on 8/20, FEDEX tracking info arrived via email yesterday... My service grade IBM M1 carbine is on the way to me now:D.

In anticipation of its arrival, how 'bout some pics of other IBM's?

Also, esoteric question here: Weren't the barrels on IBM carbines button rifled?

    Thanks!

I'm no expert but I believe all Carbine parts are identical regardless of manufacturer. That was what the military wanted, absolute compatibility.

My understanding is that Underwood barrels are button rifled. My CMP Inland came with an Underwood barrel, and it is pretty accurate at 100yds.
