Does anyone know what the differences are between the Colt 1849 Pocket vs 1862 Pocket Navy? Looking at pictures, the only difference I an see is that the 1862 has a rebated cylinder and the 1849 does not.
Real pocket navies are 5-shot .36 caliber, with the water table cut away to allow a stepped cylinder (similar to the way the 1860 Army's is). 1849s are .31 caliber.
