I've owned an SP 2022 for just about a year now. I cannot compare it to other Sigs since it is the only Sig I own, but I can say it is a very nice pistol. It is accurate and reliable for me, and I probably shoot better with it than just about any of the others I own right now.
It is big. The grip is larger than any of my other pistols. I am comparing it to a Springfield XD45, Taurus PT145 Mil Pro, and a CZ 75 P-01. I don't really count the Kel Tec.
I have what most people consider to be very large hands, and I find the Sig to feel better with the smaller of the two backstraps that come with it.
Crimson Trace makes a laser for it, although I have not purchased it. Since I got into the .45s, I am not shooting it like I used to. Still, I cannot think of anything negative to say about it. It takes down easily and has been very reliable. I have not put thousands of round through it - more like hundreds, but I have only had one stovepipe, and I think that was probably my fault.
I don't know if there is much more I can tell you, but if you think of any other questions, I will be glad to try and answer them.
