I am currently carrying a kel tec p11 but much prefer carrying my little bersa .380 for one reason, I love DA/SA pistols. Are there any compact 9mm DA/SA pistols out there that would fall in the same budget as the Kel tec and the bersa? I have lost two of the three jobs I was working in the last couple of years and now my income has dropped significantly. Selling or trading the Kel tec is open, but I love my Bersa and I am keeping it. I would be carrying it but my sister is currently using it for her carry gun, she just turned 21.

Not that I'm aware of. I sold my P11 last year for $150. Might as well keep it.

Get on the kelTec.org site for trigger effort reduction.

I don't know if you would get all that much for the PF-9 if you sold it or traded it on something. If your budget situation changes for the better then I would maybe look for a used S&W Model 469 or else something like a used Taurus PT-111.

Maybe not what u have in mind, but I really like the Sig 938.

Maybe a Taurus pt709. I think they can be had for a little under $300 (although, who knows these days).

Worth a look for the price.

A used S&W 3913 or 908 is an excellent bet. There are also a whole slew of Beretta 84F pistols that were recently imported in the $300 range, if you can live with another .380. I am thrilled with mine.

Canik Stingray Compact in hard chrome.

$400 AFTER shipping and transfer. 100% reliable, double action, and takes CZ mags, grips, triggers, hammers, and various parts.:)

Try to find a used sig P239 in 9mm. I have seem them for $400-500. With a trade on the Kil-Tec, it might just work for you.

ITs the reverse of what you are looking for but the PT111 mil pro 3rd gen from Taurus is SA/DA (all shots are SA unless one fails to ignite then the trigger reverts to DA) just throwing it our there as an option

Bersa UCPro comes in 9mm, 40 S&W, or 45 ACP. They have two mags and are very easy to conceal. They can be had in the $400 range and my experience is they are extremely reliable.

If you're lucky (these days) you might be able to find a Sig P225 for under $400. I got mine for just over $300 a few years ago. Mags can be a pain to find, and you only get 8, but its a fine little single stack 9mm.

You can also find a few Sig P6 around. Mine is a definite shooter. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up one.

It sounds like the OP wants a 9mm Walther P99cAS. It won't be in the same price range as a Kel Tec or Bersa, but that's because it's a vastly superior pistol.

It's a little more expensive, but I really like my S&W 3913. Mine is the Ladysmith model, which is a little nicer. I believe S&W also made a cheaper, 900-series pistol that was the same size (908?).

You might also see if the S&W Chief's Special 9mm pistol was made in a DA/SA version (it probably was).

If you like da/sa why not go with just SA?

You can get used to flicking off the saftey very easily. And there are several cheap SAO guns that are great for CCW.

If you're willing to drop the power level a little then you can look at the p64 for a da/sa. Thats in 9x18
