Coolest Guns

<The FG-42> was based of the MG42 design and could be either belt or box fed, so if you were using a mag it would stick out of the side. It was capable of single shots or full auto fire and was lightened to around 10lbs.

It was select-fire (and fired from a closed bolt on semi and an open bolt on full), but had no ability to use belts, just 10- and 20-round box mags. It was also not related to the MG42 at all. I haven't fired one, but I have had one in my hands.

These are a close follow up to an MP5. I would put them ahead of the 9mm but these are semi auto only, but unlike the MP5 there mine.

M60A1 Main Battle Tank's 105MM's Gun.

Oh yeah, and when it was running right and you had the belts in the cupola tray just right, the M-85 .50 cal on high rate. Especially at night on a hard target. From the right angle, at 1000 rpm it looked like a red laser beam.

Broom handle Mauser. It's 100+ years old and still the coolest looking handgun I've ever seen.

too many to list. but
m16A4, M240B, M40A3, M136 LAW (AT-4), but i have to admit its tracer trainer was cooler, made a cool sound when the round was fired, instead of making you deaf

well, gotta say...

amongst all the ones owned /or shot; got to shoot a Stoner 63 at Knob Creek a few years back.....was told I was only the 2nd woman to shoot it! Nice little belt fed 223! Very easy to handle and shoot a belt thru. :D

Original Army Issue Colt 1911 (not 1911A1) that was manufactured in 1913.

Cool for a different reason than most of the other posters. The long hammer pinched my web. I just get this cool feeling that the basic design has remained unchanged for so long. Kinda weird, but it made me feel like I was "particpating" in history. Also made me appreciate the modern 1911s like Kimber Stainless Target and Series 70 Gold Cups more.

Hey, If I had ever fired an original peacemaker from the 1800's, I would put that over an MP5, or AK.

I can't decide, I have been lucky enough to shoot lots of cool guns.

Maybe the M79 was my favorite though, because it's just so much cooler than a 203, and not many people in my age range have been able to shoot one, much less with HE.

Other than that, 240B and G are always way cool.

Rented Full Auto Thompson with Stick mags never burned 20 rounds a time so quick in my life. I spent 1 minute loading for 2 seconds of trigger time. I wish they would have had drums. Then again the rental was like $20 but I burnt $150 in ammo rather quickly. This was around 2001 so I can imagine what that outing would cost since the ammoflation.
