My cousin came over with new Sig 1911. Wow this is an awsome looking gun. He then showed me the Federal 45 jhp ammo at $49.95 a box, he bought four boxs ($ 232.00). I asked if he had a couple of hours to do reloading. We took out the supplies and loaded up 500 rounds of 45 acp rn lead. When he asked how much do I owe you for the ammo. I told him, nothing, just try and recover most of the brass. He said thanks and left. In about 15 min's he returned with a new "Shimano" rod and reel. He works.for the company and had bought the outfit for himself. Wow I feel like I made out as a bandit, as I didn't expect anything but empty brass. This got me to thinking had anyone else been rewarded for a good deed?.

Told another LEO buddy of mine i was looking for once fired .30-06 brass a few weeks ago and bought him supper as we were talkign about it, 3 weeks later he shows up with 400 once fired cases and 1000 primers he had just lying around since he got outta the game a while back. He wouldnt even take a dime for it.

Yeah just last week from the Pay It Forward thread. I sent out some dies and didn't ask or expect anything back. A week or two goes by and a bunch of .308 bullets are sitting in my mailbox. I almost cried.

I reload for my neighbor and his .380. I have dies and molds for that. He's a good friend and I think it proper payment/payback just having a watchful neighbor that knows how to shoot.
