Last I knew, tarantulas aren't poisonous to humans, so why list this in the dangers?

Maybe because hyperbole is a mainstay for sensationalist media? That said, I think all spiders are at least very mildly poisonous and some tarantulas do have a poison that is as harmful to humans as a particularly painful bee sting.

Get that man an M14 or a Garand!!!!
Not a bit. If he's doing the job let him choose what works for him and what he can afford.

UK paper. The british dont have a single poisonous animal on the entire isle. The concept of rattlers, tarantulas and scorpions is entirely alien and mysterious. Theyve never seen one so they dont know how poisonous they are.

Uhhmmm...not quite old chap.
But if you want real rarities try the North Yorkshire Moors National Park where the adder, Britain's only poisonous snake, is quite common, albeit very shy.

IIRC, England also has a population of scorpions, although those may have been introduced in the 18th century.

The bliss-ninnyism of the English population at large is entirely .gov induced IMHO.

I'm more bothered by the fact that some here can't stay on point to save their lives.

Cowboy with AK to combat drug runners

Get that man a varmint gun, a good scope and a high vantage point. I don't rightly care what his choice of weapon is, as long as it shoots true.

You guys trying to liken him to a commie for his choice of gun is silly and absolutely begging the question. The AK is a fine, plentiful, cheap weapon and probably the most reliable field gun in the world. And you guys get all hung up on the semantics of the politics from ~50 years and associate it with a guy shooting varmints on his property.

Send him ammo, that's my suggestion. All a vigilante is is someone saying enough is enough, no one's doing anythin about this, time I take it into my own hands. We can't trust our government to do anything but make a problem worse, especially our current administration. He's not a lynch mob, he's a lone cowboy protecting his property, nothing more.

Like a guy from New Mexico told me of the 4 legged coyote variety, I suspect it will apply to the two legged kind too. You shoot em, hang them on a fence. Once you have 6 or 7 of them on the fence, the rest get the hint and start to stay away. So I guess we should be making a 2000 mile fence with coyotes strung up every 50 yards or so, that might get the point across. :neener:
