While firing the first one hundred rounds through this pistol I experienced two instances of failure to return to battery. Meaning that the slide did not travel all the way forward after stripping a round from the magazine and chambering.
The failure was remedied by slight pressure from my support hand thumb on the back (end) of the slide, which moved the slide approximately one-quarter of an inch. Resumed firing.
The above-referenced range session consisted of firing three hundred rounds, total, and lasted about two hours. No other failures during that session nor in any range session since.
This gun has now consumed almost one thousand rounds, consisting of WWB 115 gr. FMJ (probably 700 rounds), WWB 147 gr. JHP (150 rounds), and 100 rounds of 124 gr. Federal Hydra-Shok (TM) JHPs.
I like it really well. It is my primary carry-gun. Carried at the 3:30 position either IWB or OWB.
