CZ SP-01 owners: what recoil spring do you use? Stock? Aftermarket?

If aftermarket, what weight and what types of ammo do you shoot?

I'm running mine bone stock...have a little under 1K through it with no problems yet. Almost all ammunition has been either UMC or WWB.

For my SP-01 I'm still using the stock springs and have used 115 and 147 FMJ, EFMJ and JHP, mostly WWB and some PNC Bronze.

To date no issue at all, I've just hand loaded a batch of hottish 124 FMJ and JHP I should be shooting next week I'll post if there are any issues....not that I'm expecting any.....

I never had a problem with mine with the stock spring. That being said, I am still convinced a lighter spring would be a good idea for normal 9x19 ammo.

I think a stock 75B spring would be a good place to start.

factory spring is excellent. however, i just started loading my own ammo and will be tuning it for competition.

most of the guys i know with an SP-01 for competition purposes load their own ammo with a 124grn truncated cone over titegroup with a lower recoil spring.

The Angus Custom Shop SP comes with a lighter mainspring, but I can't remember the poundage. I shoot everything in mine from light loads to factory ammo.
