Czech Mauser VZ24: rear sights same as...?

Hey y'all,

Trying to find out if VZ24's share rear sight configurations with any other rifles (esp. VZ58's?).

Hoping to get a scout scope mount, and a local company makes a good one for VZ58's, AK's, & SKS's.

The 'ol VZ24's a great weapon in tremendous condition, but shoots really high on its lowest setting (300m!). Thinking it's plenty accurate enough to justify a scope but don't want to permanently alter it in any way.

They should be compatible with the rear sights on most Mauser 98 style rifles.

For a scout mount, you will find two choices; M98 Mauser and Yugo mauser.

You want the standard 98K Mauser.

Right, I know there are some custom rear-sight base mounts for VZ24's, just wondering if there's more available than meets the eye IF the rear sight mounts are the same on the VZ58 as they are on the VZ24.

Anyone know if the rear sight mounts on the VZ58 are the same as the vz24?
