Ok, so, I did multiple searches for a suitable existing thread, and I just couldn't find one. Either that, or I'm not searching correctly... Anyway, I recently bought a new carry gun and a camera and started fooling around with my camera taking a few cheesecake pics of my Kimber and decided to post one.

I hope you all enjoy it, and I'd like to see what others are carrying these days. In particular I'm interested in pics that include your entire loadout- leather, mags, backup stuff, utility equipment (lights, multi-tools etc.)

I always find it interesting to see what everyone puts together that fills their requirements for daily operation.

Anyway, enough of the foreplay! :D

Picture info: Kimber Tactical Ultra II w/ 4.5 pound trigger job, stock otherwise, Microtech SOCOM Tanto automatic and two additional KimPro 7 round TacMags stuffed with Speer 230gr. JHP Gold Dots, for a total of 21 rounds on board plus one in the chamber. Condition One, of course. Leather is all Galco- OTWB holster and a double mag OTWB holder. I have some IWB rigs as well.

I don't have a pic with the other stuff but here's my "all the time gun". It's a S&W 360J that's been converted to 9mm and had a few other things done as well.

I also carry the usual stuff - knife, phone, etc.

The little Ultra 45s are nice guns. I am rather fond of my Eclipse, especially in a Del Fatti holster:

I also have a Springfield Champion I carry, again, in Del Fatti leather:

Although I carry a range of handguns including a 1911, Sig P220 and a M&P40, I can only say that my 100% daily carry is my Ruger LCP... Even when I do carry the others. It just simply goes where the others can't.

My 100% daily carry:

Not to derail my own thread here but...

OregonJohnny- how do you like your LED Defender? How is the light output compared to a xenon bulb? I have a few xenon bulb Surefires myself.

WC145, that is a beautiful camera shot. Would you mind posting the brand and model of your camera? I'm in the market for a new digital camera.

Thanks.

Bellum Eternus -

I love the E2D LED Defender. I feel it's the perfect balance of portability and power. It runs on 2 123A batteries for 76 hours when on the very usable 5 lumens and almost 2 hours on the blinding 120 lumens. The 120 beam hits tree tops 100 yards away and retains a very tight clear circle. My dad has the 6P LED (65 lumens) and there's no comparison. My girlfriend's father has 6 or 7 Surefires, LEDs and incandescents. He even has the M4 which puts out something like 225 lumens. Honestly, the only major noticeable difference between his M4 and my E2D is that his fills much larger areas with light. Mine stays tight, which I like and has plenty of power at reasonable distances. Slips right into a coat pocket, too. Highly recommend.

This is the only image I have of my current carry piece (of which I need newer/better photos, including my Wilson Combat mag and my Dillon Slide holster):

Packed around with a bigger version of this thing:

Soon enough, though, I'll be packing a S&W 638.

I know you are interested in what we are carrying "these days" but no current picture. Below is about 3 years ago I think.

While I still have everything in the picture only the belt, knife and wallet are still part of daily carry. I now carry one of several pistols over the revolver. EDC flashlight is now an HDS Ultimate 60 which I prefer for the multiple light levels. Sometimes an L4 added at night. I don't carry a multi tool all the time anymore but when I do it's usually a larger Leatherman over the Gerber but they are both good tools. Oh, the car the keys go to is long gone too.

You can try searching for "EDC" (EveryDay Carry). But just to play along like others, here's my daily setup. Sometimes a I carry a 642 instead, depending on the occasion/attire, but this is my normal setup. Posted here: Clicky

Kimber Warrior .45acp
This has been my daily carry for the last couple of months.

When I'm not carrying the Kimber this little Para C-645 is usually on my side.

How long have you owned the Warrior? It looks like the finish is rubbing off of your safety too. That seems to be a problem with the Kimber finishes on the safeties. I see it a lot.

I've only had it a couple months but I bought it used so I don't know how much holster time it had before me. I can say it has been nothing short of a flawless accurate shooter. I got a great deal on it and it will get a lot of holster time so a little finish wear doesn't bother me.

Yeah, I wouldn't sweat the finish wear either. If it bothers you, safeties are a dime a dozen. I was just curious how much usage it had. All that's important is the gun runs 100%.

Mostly this (s&w36) in a Mika pocket holster:

Sometimes this (CZ82) in a FIST #1a:

SOMETIMES AN m&p 9MM..... but I'd prefer a compact so I may work on that sometime
