So I was at Wal-Mart... scoping out potential add-ons to the Marlin. Do you think the $6.67 Daisy Air Rifle scope would do well on the Marlin .22 or should I at least go with the cheap barely there scope for $17 made specifically for most .22 caliber rifles... can't remember the brand, dang it.

This would not be used for any serious shooting.

my friend has a very small airrifle scope on his 1022 it does ok for what does he broke the rear sight and the scope was cheaper than a new iron sight but its not much better than the iron sights it is coming off for a better one as soon as he gets the cash.

Keep the daisy on the pellet gun, I think bushnell makes some pretty cheap ones that you would be more than happy with. A scope under $50 dollars prob isnt worth it...... well $50 canadian dollars anyway.

I assume you're talking about the basic Tasco rimfire scope they sell in blister packs. I was in Gander Mtn. today and saw these on sale for $9.

In this price range I'd pony up the cash. Check your couch cushions. :)
