Well, I have been in the market for a big game revolver, something in a 44 Mag, 45 Colt, or 454 Casull. S&W and Rugers have been catching my eye but nothing has been available locally and Gunbroker prices are insane.

So, at the second to last table at the Gunshow today, I spied just what I was looking for:

Mint condition like new Ruger SRH 44 Mag with the box, Leupold scope, and custom cross draw holster/sling. $700 out the door!

I know it's not a screaming deal but locally, if this SRH was in stock, the best I could do would be around $800 after tax. This wheel gun looks virtually never fired PLUS I figure I could get out from under the scope and holster for $200 or so if I wanted to.

Looking forward to working up some loads!!!

SRH Good deal..

I have the same Ruger .44. Had it for awhile+love it. At times wish I had the 7 1/2" instead of the 9 1/2", but for the most part all is good..
I did find that I had to change out the factory grips for Hogue Mono-Grip. With the factory grip, the rear of the trigger guard would smash my "Bird" finger of my right hand. After a couple of cyls. full of Mag. loads, my finger would feel like it had been hit with a hammer.. The Mono-Grip works well for me. Good luck+Good shooting..Bill.;)

Your find looks to be in as new condition and for 700 dollars with scope and holster that sound like a good deal. The revolver alone here can be bought for 682+tax.
