BTW, in case you haven't heard, the fully automatic revolver is probably based on the Webley-Fosbery. The sear was filed down so it's a 6 shot burp gun.

I dunno, I usually do a decent job of keeping the high ground in intellectual debates. Admittedly, sometimes I get the urge to shoot the idiots, but I've restrained myself. I'm not a particularly violent person.

I've been tempted to join the DU just for the sake of flamewars (two sheep of a hunded saved are better than none, especially if they can breed), but the forum software sucks. Get with it kids, phpBB's there if you're too cheap to get vB or OpenTopic.

This administration has handed them incompetency upon incompetency on a silver platter (a full mag as ammo as it were) and the clowns are unable to make political hay. That tells me they're either dumb or not playing to win.

I mean, think about all the assualt weapons that are going to flood our street once the AWB is killed by the NRA and republicans. Crazy gun killers are going to br buying uzi's and bazzookas out of every damn trunk on the street. Do we have to stoop to their level and do the same thing?

The thought of having to touch a gun makes my skin crawl to start with.

You see everywhere that uzis and other assualt weapons are for sale everywhere, CNN just had a special on it. I know for a fact I don't want to live in a country where my 6 year old can buy a gun from the ice cream man.

I read an article in the local newspaper about a guy that robbed a liquor store with a fully automatic revolver, do you want to live in a country like that?

I've heard the extremeist left talk of civil war before, but they all forget which side has all the guns. And of course there's the fact that they are pretty much all talk and whine, but no action. What a clever bunch we have here, the AWB was repealed and what happened? Nothing. And there was a SEMI-auto revolver made, but never full auto. Ever.

I've been getting nonstop panic-mail from the Loony Liberal Left all month. Kerry sounded off before putting his foot in it. Edwards talked of the "common people who can't afford to feed their kids" (I guess I live in a state full of uncommon people then, because obesity is a problem here, and we had to hit four restaurants in the "$100+ to feed four people" category to find one that wasn't jammed).

Goreon's email was too dull to finish, and apparently Enron has powerful friends in the Republican party, despite being bankrupt, out of business and with its principle officers facing jail time.

Then, of course, "Dick Cheney" (at least it wasn't "Karl Rove") hacked the system and warned everyone how HORRIBLE it would be if they actually helped make phone calls.

That they're spending so much effort trying to turn out the vote (Which they did by calling everyone on THEIR OWN list, including agents provocateurs like myself) indicates a serious fear. That they claim 3.2 million members, but can't get a group party together within 30 miles of where I live, and had only 700 home showings of the movie they couldn't get a real distributor for (That's telling...not even direct to video).

And I notice the conservative gun owners of the nation not only haven't shot them, hanged them or dragged them to their deaths behind their SUVs, but barely seem to be aware of them except to laugh at them.

Tell me what a horrible society we have again?
