Heaven forbid the weather holds out, but we're scheduling this one for 10AM on Sunday, 04.24.05, at Gibson's. I know at least 2 more people have rifles that didn't before, so we should have a decent turnout this time. For those that don't have rifles, we always have extras! If there's something you'd like to shoot, I'm sure someone in the group has one.
For those that have never been to Gibson's, they have pistol and rifle ranges from 7 to 200 yards. They have a shaded shooting line and benches.
I think the range fees are as follows:
$10 for a yearly membership
$8 per visit
Your first visit there will cost you $18, and visits during the following year will be $8.
There's an Applebee's nearby that I'll vote for having lunch at afterwards to discuss how bad Steve's shooting really is.
I'll be bringing several ARs, an LTR, a FAL, an SKS (if I can get it clean), and anything else I pick up before then. I KNOW Steve, Bill, and Justin are going to be bringing ARs. I'm willing to bet that Jay brings an AR, and there may be a BAR that shows up out there (yes, the cool kind). If Jim and Rob show up, there's bound to be some other interesting hardware out there, as well.
