Did I ruin my Walker?

I picked up my replacement for the broke Walker and it is a good looker. It is a Colt made Dragoon with 7 and 1/2 inch barrel. The scroll work on the cylinder is deep and easily seen. Metal to metal fit is splendid also the grips to frame is better than anything I have seen. Haven't shot it yet but I think I'll stick to 35 grains of Goex and corn meal. I don't think I have told anyone yet but you probably already know on your own. This whole black powder thing is something a little different and very special. I live six miles from the nearest neighbor and it is great to go out on the deck fire off a cylinder full at the nearest attacking snow drift and put it six feet under. And if the wind is still you get that aroma of smoke from black powder, yellow bore butter, or even Crisco if you don't have a hangover, there is absolutely nother more intoxicating to the system. Go back in and go thru the whole procedure again and fire away. You can fire away with all the semi-autos you want but they just don't compare to this BP experience cause there's nothing like it anywhere. I apologize for all the rambling.
