Dillon Precision

I have owned one 450 and three 550s. Currently just the one 550. Ten plus years old and going strong.
Any time I have contacted Dillon, they have been great.
I just bought a .32 S&W and bought a caliber conversion...$75.
The fact that the USD is not worth what it once was is not Dillon's fault...'nuff said.

I've had great luck with dillon as well. vacuumed up the pins once and they sent me new ones. I also ordered a spare parts kit at the same time and they just shipped that for free along with the pins. hard to argue with service like that.

TBH. I have had excellent customer service with the red and green units too.

I have 2 Dillon RL550s. One is over 30 years old and the other probably less than 10 years. The old one developed some wear that caused the shellholder platform to rotate a bit when the operating lever was run through a cycle. I called Dillon and they said to send it in and they would fix it. I sent it in and they fixed it within a week a no cost. I had to pay to ship the press to Dillon, but they paid the shipping back to me. Why would anyone use anything other than a Dillon press? Not me!!!

I have (3) Dillon's...(2) 650's and (1) 900, I've broken more index rings than I can count on the 900 and other small parts on all the machines...as everyone else, new parts in hand within a week or so. I did break one of the lower link arms on the 900 couple years back...interesting conversation with the CS guy, asked what I was doing to break it...nothing just broke, although, turns out the casting was bad from the beginning. How many rounds had been loaded with it I have no idea as I purchased it used, but I put close to 30k through it before it broke.

My older 550b was hitching when picking up primers; Jerry @ Dillon did some troubleshooting and we determined that the two screws underneath had eventually caused one of the sides to have two bulges where the screws met the housing & secured the priming assemble = new priming assembly and rod were sent to me free of charge.

Good to hear.
I have an older RL550 that I bought used. I picked it up fairly cheap (compared to buying one new anyway), and it isn't complete. I have a powder measure, but not all the parts that goes with the unit. I think I'm going to use it like a BL550, and just hand drop the powder charges with their powder through die.
I'm looking forward to getting it up and running.
It's great to hear a company that still stands behind their product.
I have dealt with RCBS's customer service in the past and found them to be exemplary as well.

My 22 year old Dillon 550 finally needed a nylon shoulder washer that the rod on the powder dump goes through. It gets a little abuse each time I swap powder in the hopper and finally got in bad shape. I e-mailed Dillon with the part number and ask for the price + shipping, got a reply today saying the warranty part was shipped.
The wear was not a fault of the part at all, I like these people!
The infamous Bell Crank Cube. It's a weak link in an otherwise fine powder measure system. When you buy the measure Dillon should provide a spare. I bought a small spare parts kit from them some years ago, and that is the first and only item I used from it. When another one broke, I emailed Dillon and they mailed me a new one free of charge.
