My first vote is for the Colt Delta Elite 10mm, in all finishes.

Second would be for Glock's (all of them but especially the model 20 10mm) without the stupid finger grooves.

Finally, my third vote would be for the Smith and Wesson Triple Lock .44 special revolver.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen at THR:

"Hi" to everybody! After cruising your great discussion forums for a couple of months, I've decided to become an active participant finally. The finest people I've ever met have been involved in guns and shooting and that's certainly the case here! Please allow me to say that as a foreigner I am glad that the Semi-auto Assault Weapons Ban has finally expired. In our day and time it's a rare occurance when gun bans of any kind are lifted.

Up front, please accept my apology if my English isn't good from time to time.

Here's my first post to the thread here:

The gun I wish being made again is the S&W M25-5 in .45 Colt w/4" and 6" barrels. That was a great "general purpose" handgun.

I'd like to thank you for being accepted as a new THR member. :)

Welcome TK-73. Believe me, there is nothing wrong with your communication in English.

For the discontinued gun, I'd love to see Ruger go back to producing the "Six" series. Most specifically, the 2-3/4" Speed Six in .357 .

Welcome, TK73!

Yet another vote for the Colt .380 Gov't. I'd also like to see someone rerelease the Luger or the P-38, with one alteration: I don't know how the -38 is, but my info tells me that the Luger doesn't do well with hollowpoints (if this is incorrect, please let me know). If they could alter it to feed modern defensive ammo, that would be carry with class!

Another vote for the Govt .380. Have a std Mustang (it was my ma's), but would LOVE the mini 1911...

One that hasn't been mentioned, and REALLY should be: the Mauser Broomy. Mauser IS still in the gun buisness, and I would absolutely LOVE to have one of the detachable mag Broomies (say, in the Bolo config. Talk about carry with STYLE! And most badguys would think you had just pulled a raygun)...

I'd like the tikka m595 series. I don't know why the replaced it with the one size fits all t3 action?

Imbii,
The Colt 1903 hammerless was chambered for 32acp. The 380 version was the Model 1908. Neither was ever made with an exposed hammer.

I know of about a dozen Colt 1903 & 1908 pistols for sale in the Seattle area. It seems that evey gunshop is required to have a Colt Pocket model and a Hi Stahdard Derringer in their display case at all times. ;)

DWS,
I live in California....anything that we can't get our hands on...which is quite a list.

In case it hasn't already been mentioned, the 'Thomas' .45 auto. Very nice DAO .45ACP pistol, not any bigger than a model 36 S&W overall, and very accurate(fixed barrel).

Winchester M12
Marlin Camp Carbine in .45ACP

I bought a pretty much NIB stainless S&W 1006 about 3 months ago ...
why did they quit making them? Ive shot the crap out of it in the past 3 months and have never had a malfunction. but thats with my handloads.
any ideas why they stopped production?

another vote for the 1006 and the savage 99's
ive got two 99s one in .243 and one in .250-3000
and theyre both built like swiss watches.
they just dont make em like that anymore

IMI Timberwolf carbines in .357 and .44 Mag.. SS would be terrific gravy. Leave off the integral mount and factory drill & tap for receiver sight. Modify design so that the magazine can be topped-off with the action in battery, and you have an almost perfect HD and woods walking piece, IMHO.
