Uh, the first 4 will also require bringing back federal law as it was before 1934, which I'd like a whole bunch more than any or all of these fine weapons.

Why do we have less rights than our grandfathers? They could have gone to the store and purchased any of those (OK, not the GI M-14, it wasn't available yet) without any tax stamp, background check or permission slip from Mommy (eeeerrrr, the local chief of police) or wait, simply by plunking down a few dollars on the counter...but we can't.

Properly-made S&W revolvers. This means pinned and recessed, real steel (not MIM) internals, no %$#! internal lock, and the firing pin on the hammer where it belongs.

Properly-made Colt AR15 rifles for civilians through regular retail channels. This means regular size pins, no block in the lower, threaded barrel/flash hider, and bayonet lug. Telescoping stocks on some models, too.

The original .44 AutoMag . . . if someone could produce it out of better materials or fix the design so it wasn't so prone to breakage.

Over the counter suppressors . . . but that would require a change in Federal law. Not likely to happen. :(

Let's not forget accessories . . . I'd like to see Hi cap (>10 rounds) Ruger Mini-14 magazines available from the factory through regular retail channels.

Ruger Speed Six 2 3/4",

Colt Woodsman,

Hi Standard Supermatic Citation,

AMT Automag :)

Break top auto ejection revolvers, I don't know why these are not more popular.

Colt Gov .380

Colt Pocket Nine

guns....

S&W, no MIM, lugs on SOME, but not all(it'll give ya a coronary to drag aroun' an M17)
M296(no added #s)
titanium??? scandium???no problem, i don't ALWAYS like the weight(& bulge) of some of the conventional mods.
Grendel P-30 & variants, also the carbine that took the same mags.
M24, & 624, maybe w/ti cylinder.

'99 Savage.
All standard calibers as well as .300 Savage both with and without the rotary mag.

I'll add my vote for the Mustang line too.

Enhanced line of 1911's also

Bright stainless Enhanced Officers model especially!

S&W 10mm models(perhaps in SA versions)
Winchester 97 riot/trenchgun with take down feature(domesticly made or at least not in china)
Enfield in .308(any company or import the ones from Australia)

"Would it be wrong for me to wish that I could go buy a new Firestar ? I loved those little guns."

I do to, I've got two of them, one in 9mm and one in 45 acp.

The one pistol I'd really like to see is the Colt Mustang, and also the 10mm

Colt Govt .380

I like the Colt Govt and Mustang .380 acp pistols. They are nice, slim, and and compact. They also appear to be very durable (i've never owned one).

I have a Beretta .380acp, and it's a good shooter and very durable, but it's fairly chunky, especially when compared to the Colt Govt .380 model. Also the recoil on the Beretta, which is a blow-back action pistol, is pretty snappy. I've heard that the Colt Govt's and Mustang's have less perceived recoil due to their lock-breeched action design.
