Do you carry a sheeple-friendly knife?

Swiss Army Knife (with a couple differences)

Even sheeple carry SAK's:p
Mine is bigger than the usual, a "Parachutist" model... with a 3.5" locking spearpoint blade, 7.75" OAL a locking screwdriver/caplifter blade and a serrated shroud cutter. Most of my liberal acquaintences are not only unthreatened by the sight of it, they want to know where they can get one:D
Got a Calif. CCW, so I don't worry about a defensive blade;)

Nope, I just paint my Kit Rea / Gil Hibben EDCs pink and put little smiley-face stickers on 'em.
Those Swiss Army Knives could poke your eye out, y'know. :)

I always carry a Victorinox Bijou (tiny) and almost always carry a Victorinox Alpineer (magnifying glass and PH driver without losing the corkscrew). I occasionally carry a Spyderco Endura, but these days my third knife is usually a Ruko (Eickhorn) liner lock with built-in belt cutter and glass buster. I use what I need for what I need to do, and open the knife with the number of hands it was designed to be opened with. Friends don't care, other people who know me don't start up with me because they already know that I'm obnoxious when discussing politics with commies. Strangers don't count.

I seldom envision any of my knives as weapons. I could hardly use a knife as a weapon except right-handed, and if my life were in such danger that I would use a knife as a weapon and could get to it with my right hand, I would use the gun which was positioned for my right hand. There is virtually always one of those.

Old Timer Sharp Finger on my belt tucked into my back pocket.
SwitchBlade in my front pant pocket
Old Timer mumblypeg knife in my front bright breast pocket

Sheeple be damned

I carry a Cold Steel locking folder with a 4" blade and don't worry about what the sheeple think. The sheeple never see what's in my daypack: A Swamp Rat Knife Works "Rattweiler" (1/4" x 1 3/4" x 7 1/2" blade, 13 1/4" OAL) with a Glock 21 (45ACP) & 3 normal cap magazines stoked with Glaser silver tips and Cor-Bon 185g HPs.

Before I got my CCW permit, I carried my Cold Steel Recon Scout (about the same size as the Rattweiler). One night after work, some guy came walking up on me in the parking garage. I drew my Recon Scout and he got religion real quick!

Some would call me crazy, deranged, paranoid or bloodthirsty.

I think of myself as a hard target. :neener:

I carry a Buck folder that I found while assigned in Germany 20+ years ago. It is similiar to the Companion. Honing and rehoning have pretty much taken their toll and the small striations in the handle are gone as is the traditional hammer and blade on the medal insert, but I sure don't leave home without it.

Time to switch to decaf?

Well, gee, Fistful, last time I checked the Utili-key was a knife. Not much of knife, I admit, but a small and useful tool that rides on the same keyring that I attach an evil fixed blade knife to.

Dirty Bob

My current EDC includes a BK11 (Becker Necker), either a Victorinox 'Rucksack' or Leatherman PST and my low profile sheeple friendly knife is a Spyderco 'Meercat.' The Meercat has a blade under two inches and I've used in the midst of a restaurant with out calling undue attention. Of course, I don't advertise I'm using a knife either.

Can't say I really care what sheeple think about what I carry, it just doesn't enter into the thought process, if they don't like it, too bad.

That being said, I guess my choices would be considered sheeple-friendly. A Gerber multitool and Buck 110 folder ride my belt. I'll typically carry an SAK in my pocket as well.

If I'm "sporting" (fishing, hunting, hiking, etc) I'll carry a fixed blade of 4+ inch blade. Tough if someone doesn't like it or thinks it's "scarey", it's a useful tool. They can go and be offended elsewhere.

I carry my new Spydie Centofante III on the right and an Endura in the left pocket. Sometimes I switch it up and rotate a stainless Delica, Kershaw Blackout, or a Gerber Paraframe(my work knife).

I am a farmer. I always carry a 2 3/4" Victorinox (small 2 blade folder, 2 flatheads, can/bottleopener, awl, toothpick/tweezer)

At work I carry a Buck fixed blade 3 1/2" that can be drawn and resheathed with one hand, it just snaps, in/out, got it at Wal-MArt for $15, stays sharp with a diamond rod, don't have to open, close, with greasy hands or whatever. Also I wear on my belt a Victorinox SwissTool folding plier, I lke this better than any Leatherman I've ever had (at least 4).

Any other time I carry a CRKT M16-13Z, right hip pocket. I bought this knife to replace a M-16-13A that I lost. I also usally carry a Spyderco Merlin, right rear pocket. I bought this knife to replace a Spyderco Harpy that I lost.

I always have a lighter (Zippo or Brunton Helios), and a hanky too if you were wondering.

Sheeple...who cares

As a wolf, I usually don't care what the sheeple think or do ! Having said that...as a rule, political correctness is not the way I roll...call 'em as I see 'em I always say. Tanto point blades...large, small...whatever I need. Nuff said !

I carry a SAK for everyday use (very sheeple friendly). For occasions when the SAK just ain't enough knife I also carry a CS XL Voyager.
Gene :)

I know I'm old...

I carry an old Case Sowbelly, and have for 30 years. It works, it cuts, and I don't advertize it with any clip on the pocket.

Guess I'm just old fashioned, but it works for me.
