Like many, I shoot .270. I rarely (read that virtually never) go to public ranges, primarily because there aren't any in my area, but I do know that .270 brass is not very common on the ground. Consider the numbers: If I'm lucky, I can get 10 reloads per case. That means that as an average shooter, I need at least 100 new cases per year (of .270, not to mention .243, 6.5x55, etc, etc).
