I belonged at one time to (2) clubs that served alcohol. It was regulated with appropriate guidelines/rules for both organizations. One organization was sued in a lawsuit because the individual had been to the club and was served. The individual went on a drinking and killing spree later in the day. The lawyers for the insurance company advised the club to settle with the plaintiffs as the legal costs would have been more than the cost of the settlement. The Club which was sued has a 1200 senior membership limit and the most sought after for membership in the Western Pennsylvania area.
Any other approach is insanely risky and irresponsible. I am stunned that any ranges or gun clubs allow this to happen. Shoot guns and then get drunk. THAT is a great idea.
