Don't Forget! Nov. 19th is Nat. Ammo Day

I went out with a simple list:
- 9mm, 147 grain Speer Gold Dot
- 9mm, 147 grain Federal HST
- 9mm, 147 grain Winchester Ranger T-Series
- 12 Gauge #1 Buckshot

Neither of my "local" shops had any of the above. Zip. Nada. One, however, had an unopened shipment of Winchester primers. I convinced the owner to open the boxes and sell me 2,000 primers, so the outing wasn't a total bust.

While disappointed I couldn't "deliver" for Buy Ammo Day, I did order 32 pounds of powder on Monday and have an order for 20 M1 Carbine magazines in "Processing" at the CMP.

Didn't have alot to spend so I bought a brick of Rem thunderbolt 22s at Dicks.
I already have several thousand rounds of other calibers in reserve.

I ordered 1,000 rounds of Barnaul 7.62x39 from Widener's in celebration.

Did my part. 100 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 147 gr 9mm. Not cheap, but it's 100 rounds I feel I can count on in any of my 9mms.
