I voted 90%, because I still sometimes (seldom) use the SA capability of my tradition DA revolvers. Also, while I still own a number of traditional DA revolvers (with SA capability), 5 of the J-frames I use for retirement CCW are DAO.

Just like in the days when I carried DA service revolvers, the significant majority of my shooting on the range (quals, training/practice drills and simple leisure shooting) is done using DA. Every once in a while I'd take one of my standard DA and DAO revolvers (including my SA capable snubs) and run some drills out at 30-50yds, but again, the bulk of the shooting is DA. Sure, now and again I'll thumb-cock one of the SA capable wheelguns into SA, and enjoy being able to take advantage of an approx 3-3.5lb trigger break to make longer distance 'precision' shots. Doesn't change that the bulk of the shooting is done for practice in DA/DAO, though. ;) Old habits (and training).

Now, my SA revolvers? The name explains the way they're used. ;)

I’m probably 60%-40%. I really enjoy small ragged holes in targets, i shoot better in SA but I also practice defensive drills and quick follow ups in DA. I hunt with my revolvers though, so accuracy is a bigger deal for me than a lot of folks. Can’t bring home dinner if you can’t hit the vitals. I also shoot until the animal is out of range or down. I don’t mind sending extra ammo if it makes a kill faster, a tracking job easier, or gives insurance to an otherwise questionable shot. So my standard operating procedure is single action for the first shot and then a quick followup or two if opportunity arises. Gotta practice that if you’re gonna do that with an animal. So far I’m 100% recovery with deer using handgun. Close on rifle, but I have lost blood trail twice.

I shoot mostly SA because my POI is ~2.5" to the right at 15yd, no matter which cartridge or revolver I shoot. I've tried various grips and trigger finger positions no no avail. On the plus side, I'm very consistent, so when I aim ~2.5" to the left, I'm on the bull. I want to shoot much more DA, so I'm about ready to give up trying various grips and adjustments and just just resolve myself to aim left in DA and git 'er dun!

Last time I went out I shot 50/50 with my Colt Officer Model but much less DA with my Ruger SP-101. Like shooting my classic Smiths in DA too, just because the triggers are so smooth. Sometimes I even impress myself with DA results but not so much with the Ruger. Still like it though.
