I've had a few people in the last week comment on my preference of single actions over double actions, so I was curtious if most of your revolvers are SA or DA.
 
I have only one single action, a Ruger Single Six that Dad bought me at age sixteen. I love it, but my favorite handguns are Smith and Wesson double actions. I have six of those, and a Ruger Police Service Six.
 
I have a slight preference for single action. This is mostly because I have gravitated towards the higher end (Freedom Arms, with an STI Texican on my wish list) However I doubt I'll ever carry a single action for a personal defense / CCW. Typically I shoot my double action revolvers in single action at the range, except, of course, for my DAO models.
 
I have 3 single actions and I can't remember how many double actions somewhere between 15 and 20. With that said I think that DAs are more practical for self-defense but SAs are just too much fun!
 
I don't own a single. Poking the empties out one at a time turns me off. I would probably enjoy a Schofield if I could afford one but most single actions (Colt and Ruger) don't eject the empties fast enough to suit me. I own about 10 double action revolvers.
 
I have never owned a Single Action, which is bad since I own a nice cowboy rig that needs a Six shooter. I have owned only Rugers and Smiths in DA revolvers and I kept the Smith and Wesson's. Ruger's are built tougher but Smith's have always felt better to me. I would like a nice Single Six or Ruger Blackhawk though.
 
Only one single action. It's the first I've ever had. Multiple doubles in my life, and currently.
 
I have more DAs. Not being much of a hunter, I can make do with only three SAs, all Ruger:

Flatgate single six, Flattop .357, Vaquero .44 special. That said, the SAs are my favorites–it just takes more DAs to cover the bases: airweight chiefs, K-frames in .38 and .357, Ruger GPs, DAO vs. DA/SA... the list just goes on. Doesn't mean that I like them more, just that it takes more tool to get 'er done, compared to the hammer n' anvil SA Rugers.
 
Mostly D/A by a long shot. All my S/A's are 22's right now, but over the years I've owned a few centerfire S/A's. I had a couple of Blackhawks, a Super-Blackhawk, one of the old Vaquero's, and a Mitchell Arms SAA clone at one time or another.

I don't mind a S/A. I've never understood the "too slow to load and unload" argument. I've not in a hurry to shoot up my ammo. :D
 
DA. They're more fun. Faster shooting with one hand, faster reloading.
 
actually I don't own any SAs, (nor any DAO revolvers) but I have at least one I shoot only in SA, so I guess that sort of counts
mostly I am not into big bore magnums, or else I most definitely would go SA
 
Four single actions, one H&A (not H&R) .38 S&W top break, one NAA .22LR, one Ruger Blackhawk .357 and one SBH in .44 mag. I would like to add a Ruger in .41 mag or .44 special and a Schofield copy.

I've got 9 DA/DAO revos and I'm too lazy to list them. I prefer shooting my DA's in general and shooting them in double action mode 99% of the time. The SA's are more for hunting and letting others plink with. It seems most like SA shooting
